Paul Smith Fragrance
The idea for my fragrance came from the idea of Paul Smith being a collector. Travelling all around the world, Paul Smith collects bits and pieces from different countries which serve as a vast source of inspiration for his clothing design. I thought about the idea of protecting precious items using bubble wrap once you have them at home, which lead to the inspiration for my fragrance artwork. Thinking about bubble wrap as packaging I looked into the circular shape associated with it and bubbles in general. Looking further into circles I decided to make the fragrance bottle a perfect sphere which would be supported by the lid it would sit in (in order to stand up). To use the fragrance you would simply remove the sphere from the lid and spray. The sphere bottle itself will look like an ornate collectable, fitting in with the theme of collecting and storing precious treasures from around the world
Colour palette of water colour I used as a base for my women's fragrance.
I developed the artwork by using watercolour to represent bubbles and water forms such as circles.
When placed together the cut out sections match up against one another to create a nice effect for sale.
